16-year-old wounded in Arlington shooting in residential neighborhood, police say

A 16-year-old boy was wounded in the abdomen late Sunday in a shooting in Arlington, police said.

The teen was shot by an unknown gunman, Arlington police said.

The boy was taken to a local hospital and was recovering Monday.

Arlington police responded to the shooting call shortly after 9:30 p.m. Sunday in the 7200 block of Fossil Lake Court.

The shooting occurred in a residential neighborhood.

Arlington police did not release any other details.
