Woman, 33, killed in shooting at south Fort Worth home, police say

A 33-year-old woman was found dead with an apparent gunshot wound inside of a south Fort Worth home Thursday night, police said.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Anjonae Jenice Eubanks, of Fort Worth. An autopsy is pending.

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call in the 6400 block of Circle Canyon Drive around 11 p.m. Thursday, according to a police call log. More than 10 units reportedly responded to the scene through the night and early morning.

Officers found Eubanks, who had apparently suffered a gunshot wound, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police haven’t taken any suspects into custody.

An investigation is ongoing.
