Old boyfriend shoots woman’s new boyfriend at Fort Worth apartment complex, police say

A former boyfriend shot a woman’s new boyfriend in his buttocks at a south Fort Worth apartment complex Thursday, police said.

The man who was shot was stable and suffered a non life-threatening injury, police said. He was taken to a hospital. Police did not release his name or age.

The new boyfriend was shot about 2:15 p.m. at the Autumn Chase Apartments in the 3500 block of South Riverside Drive, police said.

The suspect left the complex after he shot the man and had not been arrested Thursday afternoon, police said.
