Police release surveillance photos of man seen with victim prior to apartment slaying

Fort Worth police on Friday released photos of a man who they said was with a homicide victim before he was slain.

Police hoped someone who knows the man’s name will share it with them.

Raymond Castillo Jr., 36, was found dead in his apartment in the 4000 block of Pin Oak Terrace on Nov. 22, police said.

Officers were dispatched to an open structure call around 4 a.m. and found Castillo’s body inside the apartment, according to a police report. The building is known as the Post Oak Apartments.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office had not released the cause of Castillo’s death as of Friday.

The surveillance images police released appear to show the man inside a store.

Someone who knows the man’s name should call Homicide Unit Detective Matt Anderson at 817-392-4342.
