Police were investigating a shooting Friday night in east Fort Worth.

Police said a man was shot in the face by another man who fled the scene. Witnesses said the man may have shot the other on accident, police said.

An ambulance and more than a dozen police units were called to the 4000 block of Avenue G at 9:42 p.m near Johnson Motor and Sound.

As of 10:45 p.m., the man had not been arrested.

Fort Worth police responded to a shooting at 3540 Miller Ave. on Thursday afternoon. A man was shot in front of Ocean Food Mart convenience store, police said.
