Three charged with murder in Arlington man’s death; fourth suspect sought by police

Police arrested three people Thursday in connection with the fatal shooting death of an Arlington man.

Dreyon Glenn, 26, Shaquille Lane, 25 and David Davis, 23, were charged with murder in connection with Bryan Viramontes’ death, Arlington police said in a press release. Police are searching for another suspect.

Viramontes, 24, was killed March 7 while recording music in his home in the 1500 block of Darby Drive.

Investigators believe the suspects were at Viramontes house under the pretense of recording music with him. Instead, one of the men pulled out a gun, and Viramontes was shot during a struggle, police said.

After the shooting, the suspects grabbed several items from the home and ran, according to police.

Viramontes was pronounced dead at 3:01 a.m. at an Arlington hospital, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office.

Police were asking for the public’s help in finding the fourth suspect, who had not been identified as of Thursday.

Anyone with information should call Arlington homicide detective Julia Hall at 817-459-5325. Residents also can provide anonymous tips to Tarrant County Crime Stoppers at 817-469-8477.
