Trio charged with the sex trafficking of two women in DFW
Two men and a woman were arrested in Dallas for their alleged involvement in a sex trafficking operation headquartered in the city.
Terrance “Fat Mack” Luke, Maurice “Moe” Thompson and Shcora “Boo” Norris, are charged in federal court with two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion.
The two victims in the case are 25- and 29-year-old women, according to an indictment.
Luke threatened the physical safety of the women and their families, and provided them drugs in order to control and coerce them, the document says.
He is also accused of keeping the woman’s earnings except for a small amount reserved for their food, shelter and condoms, the document says.
Thompson also threatened the women and often used physical violence against the 29-year-old, including a time when he broke her jaw, the document says.
He was also experienced in identity theft, the document says, and provided both the accused traffickers and victims with false identification documents and counterfeit credit cards to purchase hotel rooms.
Norris, identified as Thompson’s girlfriend, helped control the 29-year-old woman and also made threats against her family, the document says.
All three were arrested in November and indicted on Tuesday.
