Police investigate gang-related shooting near TCU in Fort Worth

Police were investigating a gang-related shooting in Fort Worth on Tuesday night.

After being called to the 2000 block of Frazier Avenue at 6:57 p.m., multiple police officers set up cones and blocked off a section of the street. Neighbors watched from porches or nearby on the sidewalk.

Police said via email a man was shot in the ankle and was taken to John Peter Smith hospital in stable condition. Gang Investigations was taking over the case.

Police said they believe they know which gang was involved in the shooting. However, no suspects were in custody or identified as of Tuesday night.

The shooting took place about a mile northeast of Texas Christian University.
