Granbury man accused of stabbing 2 women, killing 1, sheriff says
A 20-year-old man is in jail after authorities say he stabbed two women, killing one of them.
The Hood County Sheriff’s Office said they were sent to the 3900 block of Peak Road at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday regarding an attack.
A 50-year-old woman was found dead and a 67-year-old woman was taken to JPS Hospital in Fort Worth. She is in critical condition with stab wounds to the head and chest, the sheriff’s office said.
Neither woman was identified.
Deputies say Jacob Russell Shaw was arrested and charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon-family violence.
According to a booking report, Shaw lives at the address where the stabbing occurred.
The case is being investigated by he sheriff’s office and the Texas Rangers.
