Do you know anything about these two hit-and-runs? Fort Worth police want your help

Fort Worth police sought the public’s help Saturday in their search for suspects in two separate hit-and-runs, one of which was fatal.

Two press releases on Saturday detailed the two accidents. In the first, police sought information in a hit-and-run from Sept. 26, when a pedestrian was hit by two cars while crossing the street.

Shellie Carroll, 57, was hit by one car while crossing the street in the 2100 block of Sylvania Avenue and was knocked to the ground, according to Fort Worth police. A pickup truck driving north on the inside lane also hit Carroll and continued driving.

Carroll died after being hit by both cars.

The second press release described a hit-and-run that occurred on Friday when a 54-year-old man was hit by a pickup truck in the 1300 block of South Riverside Drive.

Police said three men were inside the white Ford pickup truck, possibly a 2004 model, and the truck had damage on its front bumper.

Information on the extent of the man’s injuries was not immediately available Saturday afternoon.

In both release, policed asked for anyone with information on the hit-and-runs to call police at 817-392-4887.
