Vandals caught on video spray-painting Northwest High School

Three masked vandals were caught on video surveillance spray painting windows and a floor seal in the halls of Northwest High School on May 31.

Theg vandalism is mostly illegible on the video, but one person appeared to write “2K16” on the floor.

The Northwest school district is asking for help identifying the people shown wearing the masks on the video.

“The district is working closely with law enforcement to solve this crime,” the district said in a statement.

People with information as asked to send tips to Campus Crimestoppers by texting the Northwest school district at CRIMES (274637) or go to the district’s tip line at www.nisdtx.org/tipline. All tips remain anonymous and Campus Crimestoppers pays case for tips that lead to an arrest.

“The school district does not condone any acts of vandalism or crime and takes this incident very seriously,” the district said in a statement.

The last day of school for Northwest schools is Friday.
