GRAPEVINE

Fairway Drive, which goes over the Lake Grapevine dam, is open after monthlong repairs to a portion of the dam, according to the Army Corps of Engineers.

The roadway reopened Saturday evening with about $1 million in repairs complete, said Clay Church, a spokesman for the Corps’ Fort Worth district.

Construction began April 17 after torrential November rain caused a 95-foot slide east of the spillway.
