Colleyville State of the City dated for Jan. 29
There’s one place where residents can get all the information they need about the Colleyville of today: the annual State of the City.
City Manager Jennifer Fadden will host a presentation at 6 p.m. on Jan. 29 at the Colleyville Center, 5301 Riverwalk Drive.
“It’s a good opportunity to learn what has been going on in your community,” Mayor David Kelly said.
The event begins with an open house where city departments and community organizations will have informational stands and be available for questions and discussion. The State of the City program begins at 7 p.m. with Fadden reviewing the city’s 2014 and highlighting future initiatives, projects and issues including construction and development. This includes issues that have impacted residents and local businesses.
The city manager also touches on the city’s budget, economic development and will provide statistical information about the city’s public safety.
Following the presentation there will be a Q-and-A session and City Council members and city staff will be present for answers.
The city will record the presentation and make it available online at a later date for those who cannot attend.
At last year’s State of the City, the city referenced its incoming businesses and introduce its no-knock solicitation list.
