A North Richland Hills man was crushed to death Monday morning when he was pinned between his van and his home, North Richland Hills police said.

Authorities identified the victim as Randall Borden, 60, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

North Richland Hills patrol officers responded to a report of a crash about 6:30 a.m. in the 6500 block of Valley View Drive in North Richland Hills.

Investigators determined Borden was backing out a 2009 Ford E-series work van when he hit an object in his driveway.

Borden tried to get out of the vehicle to see what he had struck when the van began to move forward, North Richland Hills police said.

Borden was stuck in the vehicle, which crashed into his home, authorities said.
