If you didn’t get your fill at last week’s Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival, head to Southlake this weekend.

Art in the Square 2016 is at Southlake Town Square Friday through Sunday.

The 17th annual event features a variety of juried artists, entertainment, food and kids’ activities. There is no admission and parking is free.

The weather should be perfect, with highs in the low 80s.

The show is sponsored by the Southlake Women’s Club, and proceeds benefit more than 30 area nonprofits assisting women, children and families. The charity has donated more than $2 million.

“The money we raise helps charities in Northeast Tarrant County — right in our own back yard,” said Terri Schrobilgen, past president of the women’s club.

Attended by thousands of visitors and more than 150 artists each year, Art in the Square features two stages with entertainment — Sabre Stage and Gazebo Stage — the Le Bistro walk with food and beverages, the Zone for teens and tweens, and a Kids Korner for younger children to savor art experiences.

Dallas Smith, winner of Canadian Country Music Awards’ 2015 Album of the Year, is the headliner on the Sabre Stage at 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

Publicity chairwoman Sherri Whitt said the Southlake Women’s Club is responsible for presenting several successful fundraising and enrichment events that, over the years, have helped fund the needs of the community.

“These initiatives started quite simply but quickly grew and continue to evolve,” Whitt said.

In the spring of 2000, the club hosted a new community event, and Art in the Square was born.
