Grapevine, Colleyville Heritage do well at district track meet

The Colleyville Heritage cross country team had a solid showing at the district meet this past week and has a number of athletes moving on to the area round.

Boys coach Bill Anderson said that he has a couple of athletes he believes are capable of moving on to region and even to the state meet.

“We want to try to get as many athletes as we can to finish in the top four so that they can advance onto region,” Anderson said. “David Strome, from the boys team, went to state last year, and we definitely want to get him through. I feel like he has the best chance of winning state.”
