Possible murder-suicide reported in Southlake

Police Tuesday night were investigating what they believe to be a murder-suicide.

Preliminary evidence indicates the man shot the woman and then himself, a spokeswoman said in a news release.

The Tarrant County medical examiner identified the man as 62-year-old Anil Kharabanda and the woman as 58-year-old Neeta Kharabanda. The office had not ruled on the cause or manner of their deaths by Tuesday night.

Officers responded about 2 p.m. to a 911 call at the residence in the 400 block of Thistle Court. A family member initially found the bodies, which were in a bedroom of the home, according to the medical examiner’s website.

No additional suspects are being sought, police said.
