Weir’s Furniture names new CEO
Weir’s Furniture has named the first non-family member in 66 years as chief executive officer of the Dallas-based furniture retailer that has a locaton in Southlake.
Jamie Hawley, 54, assumed the role of CEO on Jan. 5. Longtime Weir employee Craig Kilgore also was named chief operating officer of the company.
Hawley brings more than 25 years of retail industry experience to the company’s top position.
Weir’s Furniture was founded in 1948 by J. Ray Weir and his wife, Barbara, on Knox Street in Dallas. Besides Southlake, Weir’s has locations in Dallas, Farmers Branch and Plano.
