David Pidgeon has been named chairman of the executive board of the Consumer Electronics Association, the group that produces the International CES event that recently was held in Las Vegas.
As head of the executive board, Pidgeon, chairman of Dallas-based Starpower Home Entertainment Systems Inc., will represent more than 2,000 member companies and the $211-billion consumer electronics trade association. Starpower has a Southlake location.
“CEA promotes innovation across all technology including not just consumer devices, but health, automotive and everywhere technology improves lives,” Pidgeon said.
