Juggling a soccer ball is one thing. Playing a saxophone at the same time is an entirely different skill set.

It’s one that Jonathan Tivadar, an 11-year-old soccer enthusiast from Keller, has mastered.

And he’s got the videos to prove it.

YouTube videoes of Jonathan’s feats have been seen by millions of viewers and earned Jonathan all sorts of media attention, from ESPN to USA Today to Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The ESPN story noted that Jonathan can juggle a soccer ball and walk backward up stairs “like a boss,” featuring a video from his Instagram page, @FootballJugglerz.

Jonthanan, a sixth-grader at Bethesda Christian School in Fort Worth, says he good at multitasking and began the juggling act because he wanted to challenge himself.

In October, Jonathan took the stage of Jimmy Kimmel Live to prove that playing Careless Whisper by Wham! on the saxophone while juggling a soccer ball was no problem.

Appearing on Kimmel’s recurring segment, Can They Do It Live?, Jonathan nailed it, and the video on the Jimmy Kimmel Live YouTube channel has more than 150,000 views.

Many comments on this and other videos compliment Jonathan’s “amazing” feats, including several who acknowledge that they “can’t do either of those things independently.”

Jonathan is in the band at Bethesda and can play several different instruments, including the sax and trumpet. He’s been playing soccer for about four years.

Other videos show Jonathan juggling other objects, including an egg, a highlighter, a Rubik’s Cube and stuffed toys. Some of the videos are on Instagram while others are on Football Jugglerz.

Jonathan said he won’t make a big deal of the extra attention he’s received at school and online.

“I guess it can be fun, but it’s important to stay humbled,” Jonathan said.

Mario Tivadar, Jonathan’s father, said he realized that Jonathan’s skills were going to take him places when his videos started going viral.

“Jonathan is a brilliant kid and always eager to learn,” Mario Tivadar said.
