Little Elm man arrested, accused in Denton County killing
A Little Elm man authorities had identified as a person of interest in the weekend killing of a Denton County woman was arrested Monday night and is now a suspect.
Deputies identified him as Daniel Edward Greco, 34.
He is accused in the slaying of Anjanette Kristina Harris, 40, of Little Elm. Authorities had not released a cause of death for Harris by Tuesday afternoon, nor did they release any other details, such as the relationship between Harris and Greco.
Denton County sheriff’s deputies were notified at 9:40 a.m. Sunday about a dead woman in the 3600 block of Shorewood Drive in the Hilltown Addition near Little Elm. The addition is in unincorporated Denton County.
During the investigation, Greco was identified as a person of interest Sunday.
He was in the Denton County Jail in Denton with bail set at $250,000 on a capital murder charge and $1,000 on a possession of marijuana charge.
Little Elm police and the Texas Rangers are also investigating.
