Woman, 85, killed in Bedford car accident

A Colleyville motorist killed in a Thursday night crash in Bedford has been identified, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s website Sunday.

The victim was Loreta Sage, 85, of Colleyville, officials said.

Sage was involved in a two-vehicle accident in the 1100 block of Bedford Road, according to Tarrant County medical examiner records.

Her cause of death was blunt-force trauma due to a motor vehicle collision “off of elevated roadway,” and her time of death was 11:42 p.m, according to the examiner’s website.

She died at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford in Bedford.

Bedford police could not be reached for comment Sunday.
