Man dies in North Richland Hills car crash
A 52-year-old Louisiana man died in a single-car crash in North Richland Hills early Monday morning, police said.
The Shreveport man was driving westbound on Bedford Euless Road about 2:20 a.m. when his 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass left the road “for an unknown reason,” went over a curb and struck a light pole in the median, police said.
The man, whose name had not been released by Monday afternoon, died at the scene. A passenger was taken by ambulance to a hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries, police said.
The crash is still under investigation, but police said the victim’s car appeared to have been speeding.
