Top-notch whiskey tasting event set for Trophy Club

Trophy Club Country Club, located at 500 Trophy Club Drive in Trophy Club, has just been chosen as one of only two ClubCorp private clubs in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to host a top-tier whiskey tasting featuring one of the world renown whiskey enthusiasts, Mahesh Patel.

Growing up with humble means, Patel worked hard and has amassed a fortune through hard work as a construction developer. In addition to his vast portfolio of properties, Patel also developed a passion for fine whiskey.

Not only did he develop an appreciation for the flavors, he also has become one of the foremost knowledgeable individuals on the subject, personally hosting on of the most elite annual whiskey tastings, The Universal Whiskey Experience, held in Las Vegas.

Here is our rare opportunity to enjoy this incredible experience in our own backyard.

Typically, Patel’s tastings can cost upward of $350 per person, however Trophy Club Country Club is hosting a whiskey tasting at 7 p.m. Feb. 4, with five luxury brands and a four-course meal for only $60 per person (plus tax and gratuity).

What’s the catch? Well there really isn’t one; however, this is only open to the first 60 people who make a reservation.

Among the brands that will be available: Monkey Shoulder, a smooth and rich triple malt Scotch; three Balvenie single malts, a 15-, 17- and 21 year-old, each with its unique and luxurious flavor and the Glenfiddich, 15 year-old single malt, which exemplifies warmth with its spicy flavors.

This event is open to anyone who appreciates great whiskey and great food.

Patel was just granted membership to The Worshipful Company of Distillers, one of the oldest organizations of its kind, dating back to 1638.
