It may only be the first week in November, but Gaylord Texan is already hard at work on its annual Lone Star Christmas extravaganza featuring a 2 million pound hand-carved ICE! attraction.

The theme for this year’s Nov. 12-Jan. 3 exhibit — Christmas around the World — highlights holiday scenes and children from Mexico, Germany and more.

The 125-acre resort will transform into a winter wonderland, decorating with twinkling lights and festive ornaments, a gigantic Christmas tree, snow tubing, two-story tall ice slides, an enchanting parade of toys and gingerbread decorating.

Travel through the North Pole to see Santa and his elves while enjoying magnificent ice carvings showcasing real master artisans from Harbin, China.

A crowd favorite is returning: the majesty of a full Nativity in stunning, crystal clear ice.
