The city that bills itself as the Christmas Capital of Texas kicked off a season featuring thousands of events with the Nov. 24 Carol of Lights and Annual Tree Lighting ceremony.
Guests participated in a “turn of the century” Carol of Lights at the Town Square Gazebo on Main Street.
The gazebo and surrounding areas was transformed into an 1890s feel, complete with costumes and time-period specific activities and music.
The city sponsors the events.
