Federal agents surround Trophy Club home in child exploitation case
Federal agents executed an arrest warrant Tuesday at a Trophy Club residence as part of a child exploitation investigation, a spokesman for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said in a news release.
Special agents with Homeland Security Investigations went to the house on Alamosa Drive and were assisted by Trophy Club police, ICE spokesman Carl Rusnok said in the statement.
“However since this is an ongoing investigation no other details can be released at this time,” Rusnok wrote in an email in response to a request for more information.
The homeowner, George Craft, 59, said by phone that the arrest warrant was not for him, but he declined to say who it was for. He also said he was going to get an attorney.
To Star-Telegram media partner WFAA, Craft said no one was arrested, and that he is a pastor.
Public records show that Craft is the director and pastor of the Abundant Grace Church in Southlake. The church is associated with the Abundant Grace Christian Montessori Academy at 1970 E. Dove Road.
Homeland Security Investigations has an ongoing project called Operation Predator aimed at identifying and arresting people involved with child pornography, who travel overseas for sex with minors and sex trafficking of children.
