Crash on Texas 114 service road in Southlake leaves one person dead, police say

A crash involving two vehicles Wednesday morning in Southlake left one person dead. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.

Firefighters extricated the driver of one of the vehicles, who was taken to Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Grapevine and later pronounced dead.

The crash happened in the 600 block of eastbound Texas 114 service road at the Dove Road intersection around 8:14 a.m. Wednesday, according to the Southlake Police Department.

The victim’s identity was not being released pending notification of next of kin. The other driver was not injured.

The person who died will be identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
