Residents invited to stargaze in Southlake
A nature preserve in Northeast Tarrant will host a Star Gazing Party later this month for folks to get a better look at the night sky.
The Bob Jones Nature Center & Preserve, 355 E. Bob Jones Road, is hosting the free event on Aug. 21 from 8:45-10 p.m.
Zoe DeVito, the nature center’s community relations coordinator, said volunteers from the Fort Worth Astronomical Society will be there with high-tech telescopes to give folks a closer look at the moon, planets and nebulae.
