CGSA fall softball registration opens

Registration for the fall softball season for the Colleyville Girls Softball Association is now available on the organization’s web site at colleyvillesoftball.com.

Those interested in enrolling as a head or assistant coach or as a team manager can do so on the web site as well.

Late registration starts for GBSA

Late registration started on Aug. 1 for the Grapevine Baseball and Softball Association.

CSA late registration begins for fall season

Late registration is now open for the fall 2015 season for the Colleyville Soccer Association.

Late registration is $150 for Colleyville residents and $170 for non-residents (this includes a $50 late fee).

The cost of registration includes a complete uniform – game jersey, shorts and socks.

It also includes Monday Night Futbol, six weeks of professional skills training.

According to the organization’s web site, www.colleyvillesoccer.net, teams form and begin practice this month for league play running Aug. 29 through Nov. 8. Schedules will be posted on Aug. 22.

Most games are on Saturdays, and the league plays a 10-game season with no games on Labor Day Weekend.

Registration and player evaluation set for SBA

The Southlake Baseball Association has opened up registration and will have player evaluations on Aug. 29.

According to the organization’s web site, www.dragonyouthbaseball.org, “during registration you will be able to select a player evaluation time slot. Spaces in each time slot are limited, so register early for the largest selection. Evaluations are used to ensure our players remain safe and there is competitive balance in each league.”

It is recommended that players show up 15 minutes prior to start time to stretch and warm up. Field 3 has been designated for warm ups.

Evaluations on Aug. 29 will run as follows:

Shetland: 9 a.m. - 11:40 a.m. - Field 1

Pinto: 9 a.m. - 12:40 p.m. - Field 2

Mustang: 9 a.m. - 12:40 p.m. - Field 4

Bronco: 9 a.m. - 11:40 a.m. - Field 6

Pony: 9 a.m. - 10:20 a.m. - Field 5

Colt: no evaluations.
