Man killed when he steps in front of a train in Keller
A man was killed early Wednesday when he stepped in front of a train, police said.
The victim was identified as Jordan Mueller, 27, who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s website on Wednesday. The website did not list a hometown for Mueller, but his Facebook page listed his home as Dallas, and he had lived in El Paso.
Police went to an accident call in the 800 block of North Main Street about 3:45 a.m. Witnesses told police that the train was northbound and Mueller stepped in front of it.
The train remained at the scene for several hours, blocking the railroad crossings at Golden Triangle Boulevard and Keller Hicks Road.
