Friday fireworks run to Labor Day in Grapevine

The city's weekly Friday night fireworks continue through Labor Day weekend and launch at 9:30 p.m.

City officials said high water levels at Lake Grapevine have receded a bit, allowing the city to launch from its original location near Oak Grove Park.

All lake parks and boat ramps remain closed due to high water levels, but viewing locations for fireworks are the Gaylord Texan rooftop parking garage and a very limited amount of parking spots at Oak Grove Ballfield.

Fireworks will not be visible from the Grapevine Mills mall area, officials said.

Parking is not allowed in any neighborhoods around Oak Grove Ballfield.
