Police appealed for help Tuesday finding an unidentified man who stole an undisclosed amount of money from a bank on Precinct Line Road Monday afternoon.

Police on Tuesday released a photograph of the robber in hopes that someone would recognize him. The photo came from a surveillance camera at Northstar Bank, 1842 Precinct Line Road.

The robber walked into the bank at about 12:44 p.m. Monday and handed a teller a note demanding money. He did not display a weapon and no injuries were reported.

After getting the cash, the man fled on foot, police said.

Witnesses described the suspect as a white man in his 40s or early 50s, about 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall with dirty blonde hair and bloodshot eyes. He was wearing a blue T-shirt with a white emblem on the left side of the chest, green/khaki shorts, white socks and green-looking shoes.

Anyone with information should call Hurst police at 817-788-7180.
