A former Timber Creek High School quarterback and another teenager have been sentenced in Denton County theft cases in which packages were stolen from front porches.

Anthony Millsap, 18, of Fort Worth was placed in a pre-trial diversion program for a year on a charge of organized criminal activity.

Ulugbek Nasirov, 18, of Fort Worth was sentenced to two years’ probation with deferred adjudication on a theft charge.

Millsap, Nasirov and a third suspect who was 16 at the time were detained in November after a resident called Flower Mound police.

Millsap was the quarterback last season at Keller Timber Creek High School, which is in Fort Worth but part of the Keller school district.

Luke Williams of Fort Worth, Millsap’s attorney, declined to comment Monday on the case or Millsap’s football future.

Millsap was placed in the program in early June.

Denton County officials said the pre-trial program is offered to first-time offenders who have committed a nonviolent crime. A defendant is given a list of terms and conditions to follow, which typically include 24 hours of community service, a drug education course and drug/alcohol evaluation. Details of Millsap’s pre-trial program were not available.

If an offender violates terms of the program or commits another crime, the case is prosecuted. If an offender completes the program, the charge is dismissed.

Nasirov’s lawyer could not be reached Monday.

The three also were accused of stealing packages from front porches of houses in Fort Worth.

A Fort Worth theft charge is still pending against Millsap in Tarrant County, but one against Nasirov was dismissed in April, according to Tarrant County criminal court records.

No information was available from either county regarding the 16-year-old who was also arrested.

The teenagers were arrested the afternoon of Nov. 19 after Flower Mound police responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle at Bruton Orand Boulevard and North Sterling Parkway.

The caller reported seeing people in a car driving through the neighborhood, picking up packages and tossing boxes out the window.

Officers stopped the vehicle in the 5200 block of Cross Timbers Road in Flower Mound, found stolen property inside and arrested the three suspects.

Investigators found more than 40 items stolen from homes in Flower Mound and Fort Worth, police said.
