Residents and businesses in Bedford and Euless are being asked to conserve water for several days after a 48-inch water main broke Tuesday night.

Molly Fox, a Bedford spokesperson, said the Trinity River Authority notified the city about the break Tuesday night. The break affects residents in south Bedford and Euless.

“Our residents still have water for drinking and bathing,” she said.

Fox said there is no boil water notice. Residents and businesses are asked to refrain from outdoor watering and nonessential water use.

Both cities are emphasized the water supply is safe.
