Two Colleyville officials take on new roles
Chris Fuller and Police Chief Mike Holder are taking on new roles in Colleyville city government after Terry Leake announced that she is leaving her job as Colleyville Finance Director and Assistant City Manager.
Leake has been hired as the finance director for the city of Cleburne. She was Colleyville’s first finance director and has been assistant city manager and chief financial officer for the past five years.
Fuller, currently executive director for development and infrastructure, will take over as deputy city manager. He returned to work in Colleyville last year, after leaving in 2008 to become assistant city manager in Keller. Fuller previously served as Colleyville’s director of development and business strategies in 2005-2008.
Holder, who was hired as police chief in 2011, will become assistant city manager/public safety director, while retaining his title as police chief.
“These changes in the organizational structure reflect the complexity of the projects before the city and the services we have to deliver on — so that there is senior oversight of all city operations,”said Mona Gandy, city spokeswoman. “
The transition will take place July 15.
