Residential and retail development planned for North Richland Hills
Vacant land near the North Richland Hills City Hall could be a new home for residential development, restaurants, shops and offices.
Farmers Branch-based Centurion American is proposing to build the City Point development on approximately 53 acres around city hall on the east side of Boulevard 26 and south of Roger Line Road. The City Council has seen the preliminary plans during and is receptive about the proposal, said Craig Hulse, director of economic development.
The City Hall opened in May of 2016 bringing employees from six locations under one roof. It is on the site of the former North Hills Mall, which closed in 2004. A rendering shows plans for 350 residential lots, a spot for a hotel and space for apartments.
According to its web site, Centurion American developments include Frisco Hills, Westlake Entrada, Euless Founders Parc and North Lake Estates.
