3 identified in fatal Hurst crash
Three people killed Saturday when their vehicle flipped over on a rain-slick freeway have been identified.
Police said the driver lost control of a Toyota Tacoma, which hit a bridge railing on Loop 820 and Texas 121. The vehicle flipped over a rail and landed on a concrete embankment.
The driver was identified late Wednesday as Salvadore Arvizu, 37. He died of head injuries at 12:03 p.m.
Passenger Alicia Perez, 45, died of a traumatic brain injury, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office, and passenger Juana Rivera, 80, died of blunt-force trauma.
All three were wearing seat belts, police said. — Monica S. Nagy
