Armed robbers are targeting Hispanic men who are walking in neighborhoods late in the afternoon, police said Wednesday.

Police reported at least 12 holdups have been committed by the band of suspects since Oct. 13.

Investigators believe four black suspects, two men and two women, have robbed Hispanic men of personal property and cash.

The four suspects are not always together during a holdup, police said. The suspects have displayed firearms.

The robbers have been in several different types of cars and they were in a sports utility vehicle in at least one holdup.

The suspects have hit in these neighborhoods:

600 to 700 block of Fox Avenue

900 to 1,000 block of South Charles Street

400 block of E. Texas 121 Business
