Agenda item raises questions about the status of Haltom City manager
The status of Haltom City manager Keith Lane is to be discussed by the city council Monday night.
The council agenda, posted Friday afternoon on the city’s website, lists an executive session item regarding deliberation on the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline or dismissal of the city manager.
Lane did not return a call from the Star-Telegram seeking comment.
Mayor David Averitt also did not return voice mail messages regarding the agenda item.
The meeting at 5024 Broadway begins with a 6 p.m. work session followed by a joint city council and Economic Development Corp. meeting at 7 p.m.
