Severe thunderstorms kept North Texas on edge Thursday night, first with a line of storms that dropped at least three tornadoes north of Tarrant County and later with a squall line carrying hail, high winds and rain.
There were scattered reports of light damage, but no injuries had been reported by 10 p.m., The Associated Press reported.
Three tornadoes touched down, two in Wise County and one in Denton County, Star-Telegram partner WFAA reported.
Just after 6 p.m., a tornado was confirmed in Boyd. A second tornado was confirmed in New Fairview just before 7 p.m.

The Denton County tornado was northeast of Krum at 7:16 p.m., according to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth.
At 10:30 p.m. the squall line was moving through Tarrant County with high winds and rain. A flash flood warning was in effect until 1 a.m., the weather service said. See story at WFAA.com
