Former Keller school security officer sentenced to 75 years for sex abuse

A former Keller school district security guard has been sentenced to 75 years in prison for molesting an acquaintance for years, according to Tarrant County court records.

A Tarrant County jury found Larry Craig Madore, 45, of Azle guilty last week of continuous sexual abuse of a child.

He got 45 years on that charge and 30 more years for other sex charges, according to court records.

He molested a female acquaintance under the age of 14 in a home in 2014, records state. He was found guilty of molesting the girl before and after she turned 14, said Sam Jordan, a spokeswoman with the Tarrant County district attorney's office in an email Monday.

He continued to molest her while she was under the age of 17, Jordan said.

The sexual abuse did not occur on any Keller school district property.

Madore began working in the school district in September 2013 and his last day was in March 2014, according to Keller school district records.

He had worked security at Fossil Ridge High School and the Keller Learning Center, according to school records.
