A handful of volunteers cleaned up Liberty Garden as part of the Great American Cleanup.

The City hosted the effort at Bicentennial Park Saturday morning.

Cassie Tucker, with the city, said the goal is to have the garden have a fresh look following the park’s soon-to-be-complete renovations.

“We wanted the garden to also be spruced up to make a debut with the rest of Phase 2 Bicentennial Park,” Tucker said.
