Police are asking the public for help finding a woman with a knife who ran away from a convenience store after taking an undetermined amount of cash.

The robbery occurred just after noon Saturday at the PDK store in the 4600 block of Denton Highway, according to police.

The woman is estimated to be in her 30s and was last seen wearing shorts and a brown hoodie jacket, a news release from the Haltom Police Department said. Officers used a K-9 unit to track the woman to a residence in the 5600 block of Starlight Drive and then called in SWAT officers, the release said.

SWAT officers ordered everyone out of the residence and then searched the house, but police have made no arrest. The robbery is still under investigation.
