Medal of Honor recipients cheered as they drive along Texas 114
Northeast Tarrant County residents came out in force on Wednesday to show their respect for the Medal of Honor Motorcade that traveled along Texas 114 as it moved from Dallas/Fort Worth Airport to Gainesville.
Motorcyclists from the Patriot Guard, Christian Motorcycle Association and the Blue Knights escorted the military heroes, who were greeted by a huge American flag hoisted by firetrucks from Grapevine and Southlake on the Carroll Avenue bridge.
Gainesville holds an annual gathering each spring to honor the Medal of Honor recipients.
