Euless toddler backed over by her father in driveway identified

The 17-month-old girl who was killed Tuesday night when her father backed over her in his pickup truck has been identified by the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office as Kelli Anderson.

Her father called 911 at about 8:15 p.m. Tuesday to report hitting the toddler in the family’s driveway in the 900 block of Brook Forest Lane.

The man rushed his daughter to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at Grapevine, while his wife performed CPR, but the child was pronounced dead at 9:07 p.m.

Euless police are investigating the child’s death as a “tragic accident,” according to a news release.
