Police report: Fort Worth robbers who had cash ruined by dye pack sentenced to prison

Three men and a woman accused of robbing a bank in north Fort Worth in November were sentenced to federal prison last week, officials announced.

Tony Kalumba Tshiansi, 22, was sentenced to 15 years; Justin Corie Murry, 20, to five years and 10 months; and Tremain Keyon Smith, 22, and Nykesciah Danielle Williams, 25, to three years and one month.

The four pleaded guilty and were sentenced in the robbery of a Woodhaven National Bank in the 6000 block of North Beach Street on Nov. 3. Williams and Smith waited in a car while Tshiansi and Murry went inside the bank and robbed it using a note, according to a news release from the U.S. attorney’s office.

Most of the money they stole was ruined by a dye pack, the news release said.

Tshiansi was also suspected in the robbery of a nearby Wells Fargo Bank on Oct. 24, according to court documents. At the Wells Fargo, he handed a teller a note that read, “Give me all your money I have a gun...Hurry up!” before taking about $28,000, the court documents said.

Two days later, Tshiansi bought a Land Rover in Euless with a $14,000 down payment, investigators discovered.
