Main Street Fest comes to Grapevine
A blend of festival fare awaits visitors to the 33rd Annual Main Street Fest May 19-21 in Downtown Grapevine, presented by Bank of the West.
The three days will include a variety of food favorites, live entertainment, carnival rides, kid-friendly zone including a SEA LIFE Grapevine Aquarium touch pool and a LEGOLAND® Discovery Center's builder contest. For the adults, wine tastings and craft brews will be on tap.

Colleyville picks city manager finalist
Colleyville City Council took a major step forward last week naming Jerry Ducay has the lone finalist for the City Manager’s position.
Ducay, 51, was the top choice among 50 candidates considered by the Council. Currently, he is administrator for the Village of Frankfort, Illinois.
"Colleyville is a beautiful community and I am extremely excited about joining the team," Ducay, 51, said Friday from his Frankfort, Ill. office.
Ducay will replace Jennifer Fadden whose last day will be June 2.
"Jerry’s impeccable professional reputation and his vast experience in managing communities comparable to Colleyville, made him an excellent choice to lead the organization," said Colleyville Mayor Richard Newton.
Fire Department offers CPR classes
Southlake's Fire Department is offering life saving instruction to residents with its monthly Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - CPR class from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at the DPS headquarters, 600 State St.
The department uses the AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED certification course and the class teaches adult, child and infant CPR and AED use for anyone with limited to no training.
