The first head coaching position in the bright career of Mike Glaze, former Cedar Hill offensive coordinator, will be at L.D. Bell. The hiring of Glaze, who coached a slew of nationally ranked athletes at Cedar Hill last season, was announced by the H-E-B school district last Monday.
Glaze told the Star-Telegram last week that he anticipated being able to modify what he did at Cedar Hill to help Bell rebound from a 1-9 campaign in 2014, the first season in the last four that the Raiders didn't make the playoffs.
Glaze's hiring comes about three weeks after the school district hired Chris Jensen to succeed Steve Lineweaver as the head football coach at Trinity.
