Boys soccer
The Trinity boys soccer team managed to get in its game last Tuesday against Haltom, losing 1-0, but will try to play three games this week as inclement weather postponed Friday's district re-match against L.D. Bell. The make-up game was scheduled for 5:30 p.m on Monday.
That makes a tough week even tougher. Trinity was already scheduled to play two of the district's better programs in Southlake Carroll on Tuesday after the press deadline and at Coppell at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
For Bell, besides the make-up game with Trinity, the Raiders were set to play Colleyville Heritage on Tuesday and host Haltom at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Girls soccer
The Trinity and Bell girls soccer teams weren't able to play last Friday either, but Trinity continued to heat up last Wednesday with a 3-1 victory at Haltom.
L.D. Bell had a big victory early last week as well, as the Lady Raiders defeated Richland 5-1 last Monday.
Besides trying to make up the postponed Friday match between one another in a game scheduled for Wednesday, Bell was scheduled to play Colleyville Heritage on Monday and at Haltom at 7:30 p.m. Friday, while Trinity was set to visit Southlake Carroll on Tuesday and host Coppell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Softball
The Lady Trojans softball team was set to begin district play on Tuesday against Colleyville Heritage before fitting in its last non-district game of the season, hosting Argyle at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
The Lady Raiders also start district on Tuesday, squaring off against a tough program in Coppell, before entering the Denton Sade Lowery Memorial tournament on Thursday.
Baseball
The Bell and Trinity baseball teams will open competition in the HEB Classic tournament on Thursday at their respective campuses. Trinity draws Arlington Lamar to open at 1:30 p.m., while Bell's opening opponent will be Weatheford at the same time.
